Chelsea have secured their first victory of the season as they thrashed Leicester City 4-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues started brightly and took the lead through Mason Mount's early goal before Harvey Barnes levelled for the Foxes just before half-time.
However, it was all切尔西的胜利。 The second-half saw the Blues take control with goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud to secure a comfortable win.
Havertz also scored his first goal for the club, putting the hosts ahead in the first half before adding another late on to make sure of the three points.
It was a dominant display from the home side who showed their superiority throughout the game. Chelsea were well organised defensively and created plenty of chances, while their attacking play was clinical.
Leicester struggled to find any rhythm in the first half, with the visitors unable to break down the Blues' defence. However, the Foxes did manage to get on the score sheet through Barnes' header in the 45th minute.
Chelsea responded immediately after the break with Mount's goal, followed by a fine strike from Hudson-Odoi and then Werner's second to put the game beyond Leicester's reach.
Giroud's late effort completed the scoring, with the Frenchman's finish sealing the win and securing a perfect start to the season for Thomas Tuchel's men.
Overall, it was a superb performance from Chelsea against one of the Premier League's biggest teams. They showed why they are considered one of the best sides in Europe and will be confident going into their next fixture against Crystal Palace.
