City continued to dominate possession and create opportunities, but United held firm and were able to keep them out. It was only until the final whistle that Man United were finally breached, with Erling Haaland scoring a stunning free-kick to give City all three points.
It was a tough afternoon for Man United, who have now lost two games in a row for the first time this season. However, there is still hope for the Red Devils, who will be looking to bounce back next weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion.
